Victorian dairy farmers are continuing to push back against state government plans to merge commodity focused food safety bodies. 

The state government is establishing a broad, independent regulator called Safe Food Victoria, which will also oversee dairy products. 

Rural Editor Emily Minney spoke to United Dairy Farmers of Victoria Acting President Ian Morris about the dairy industry's concerns.
