The bee industry is ending efforts to eradicate a deadly parasite as it's detected in more hives.

A group tasked with tackling Varroa Mite has transitioned to a 'management approach'. 

Tens of thousands of hives have been euthanased since it was first detected a year ago, with a new cluster recently discovered around Kempsey.
