So road freight efficiency is a huge part of pushing up national productivity.
The Australian Trucking Association says a $400 million Federal plan to boost truck productivity will deliver $4.4 billion in economic benefits every year - and they've cited the example of switching from conventional semis to fuel efficient A-doubles.
