Western Australia's sheep industry has taken to the streets of Perth, continuing to rally against the federal government's phase out of the live sheep trade. 

The live trade of sheep by sea will be banned from May 2028.

The main body representing farmers is welcoming a new Fuel Supply Taskforce.

Wholesalers have been restricting diesel supply into the regions, blaming the conflict in the Middle East.

The government says the taskforce will make sure fuel is able to get to where it's needed.
