The Rural Doctor Association of Australia is throwing its support behind the federal government's 60-day dispensing measure.
Patients will be able to take home two months' worth of selected medication off one script from the first of September.
Rural reporter Ella Smith spoke with the R-D-A-A's President-elect Doctor R-T Lewandowski, about why the scheme will particularly benefit rural and regional patients.
