This year's Halloween pumpkins are in supermarkets, in readiness for the 31st of October.

The year has had its challenges, as growers faced workforce shortages and the need to grow a big crop with Halloween falling on a Saturday.

One of the country's major producers Stackelroth Farms has answered the calls, growing about 100,000 pumpkins.
