Farmers in New South Wales have lifted the state's agricultural production to its third highest level on record.
The agriculture sector recorded a gross value of production of more than 20 billion dollars this past financial year, despite challenging seasonal conditions.
The New South Wales Farmers Association says the sector is well on its way to becoming a 30 billion dollar industry by the end of the decade.
Rural Editor Emily Minney spoke with Association Vice President Rebecca Reardon about the production figures.
