29% of Murray-Darling Basin inflows come from the Alps - but Save Our Winters scientist Ruby Olsson says that number is reducing as the climate changes.

As Britain grapples with a fear of foreigners, Aussie shearers looking for work during our Winter - the off-season - are being barred from entering the UK to service their own wool industry.

It's stops shearers from making a year-round wage - and its causing shearers to drop out of the industry when there's already a global shortage.

Rural Reporter Gabrielle Hodson spoke with Shearing Contractors Association of Australia Secretary Jason Letchford, who says it also affects New Zealanders and South Africans.
