Lobby groups are calling on the Victorian State government to better support drought stricken farmers..two weeks out from the state budget.
Regions in the South-West are experiencing drought conditions, and are eagerly waiting for an autumn break.
Last September, the state government announced a 13 and a half million dollar support package for struggling producers.
Rural Reporter Alexander Nimmo spoke with United DairyFarmers Victoria President Bernard Free about what more the government needs to do.
