View descriptionShare

Experts warn the horticulture industry is at risk as a result of varroa mite outbreaks, with researchers looking at ways to future proof the sector.

The parasitic pest targets European Honey Bees and has been deemed ineradicable since it was first detected in New South Wales in 2022.

Rural Editor Emily Minney spoke with Rabobank Research General Manager Stefan Vogel about how to move the industry forward.
