Grain industry's call for new incentives to shore up on-farm fuel supply as farmers struggling during seeding and harvest

The grain industry is pushing for tax breaks to allow farmers to stock up on on-farm fuel supply. 

Growers warn they have been left exposed by fuel shortages amid the critical seeding and harvest windows. 

Grain Producers Australia wants to introduce incentives similar to those already in place for grain and fodder storage

Rural Editor Emily Minney spoke with spokesman Andrew Weidemann about the calls.
