Feral pig population booms

Biosecurity experts want clear targets to be put in place, as regional New South Wales struggles with a growing number of feral pigs. 

Repeated La Nina weather events have led a population boom in the states North and West. 

100 thousand pigs have been killed each year for the past year but experts warn that number doesn't even scratch the surface.

Rural Reporter Emily Minney spoke with the Invasive Species Council Advocacy Director Jack Goff about the alarming number of wild pigs in the region.
