Growers are considering rolling out drones which look like birds to protect their orchards. 

The Canadian-made drones are designed to look like falcons, and mimic the birds behaviour, to scare off other birds. 

As drought conditions persist in Victoria, birds have turned their attention to horticultural crops like apples and pears.
