She daydreams of a more exciting life and secretly loves Peter Callaghan, a handsome commuter played by Peter Gallagher, whom she has never actually spoken to. On Christmas day Peter falls onto the train tracks and Lucy rescues him, and after a wild miscommunication at the hospital Peter’s family believes that Lucy is his fiance… all this occurring, while Peter is in a coma. Also want to mention Jack played by Bill Pullman as Peter’s brother.
