00:00– 25:02 –  John is all over the place to start the show thanks to a wild sports weekend. He touches on the disappointment from the Colts and Pacers, while also mentioning the heroics of the Indiana Hoosiers Saturday against Minnesota. He asks the question, what is the benefit of keeping Shane Steichen at this point?

They review the exhibition games and using it to tinker with the substitution patterns, especially against UConn last week. How deep is Purdue this year, how will they matchup against Gonzaga, and what the keys will be to a win. Painter also explains how he’s getting the team to gel together compared to past teams that have played a lot with one another and what do these games tell him about his team? He also explains his process of balancing potential and production.
