The emergence of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 has finally forced the world to have a difficult conversation that many experts and less-economically developed nations have been calling on us to have for a long time.
Vaccine inequality, also referred to as 'vaccine hoarding' by wealthy nations including our own is proving to be a big problem, and many experts believe it is to blame for Omicron and other new variants of concern that may emerge.
The Quicky speaks to an expert in public health to find out why not all countries have access to the vaccine doses they need, and what we can all do to solve the problem to ensure that everyone can 'live with Covid' as safely as possible.
