Unused Flight Credits & Billions In Profit, Why It's Expensive To Fly In Australia

This week, outgoing Qantas boss Alan Joyce and Jetstar CEO Steph Tully were questioned by a Senate enquiry about the Australian airline market, skyrocketing airfares, flight cancellations and unused pandemic credits. 

We learned that Qantas and Jetstar were holding on to close to $500 million of our unused flight credits, that all have an expiration of December 31 this year. 

In this episode of The Quicky we find out why airfares are still so high, and just why haven't we all cashed in our flight credits.
