British Foreign Secretary David Lammy overnight accused Israel of breaking international law before downing Street qualified his comments, saying it was only at risk of doing so. Israel has stopped AID from entering the Palestinian territory, cut power, and resumed air strikes to force Hamas to come to the negotiating table. After the first phase of a ceasefire ended. Israel believes the listed terrorist group still holds twenty four living hostages, with dozens more dead. When asked if blocking humanitarian aid was wrong, Prime Minister Anthony Albanesi didn't directly comment, but said he supported a cease fire and an end to suffering. Liberal Senator and former ambassador to Israel, Dave Sharma says he'd like to see the ceasefire resume, but her Mass couldn't remain in power as it was advocating for. He also called for humanitarian aid to continue. Israel and her Maas accuse each other of breaching the truce, which had offered a respite for the Gaza Strip's two point three million residents after seventeen months of war. Psychiatric testing for a former police officer charged with the domestic violence murders of two people with his service weapon has been delayed. Beaumont Lamar Condon is charged with two counts of murder after allegedly shooting dead Quantus flight attendant Luke Davies and TV presenter Jesse Bard, both in their twenties, in February last year. He's accused of then using surfboard bags to store the bodies and dump them at a rural property. The accused the killer was due to be assessed by a forensic psychiatrist in early March before he considers entering pleas, but that assessment has not been conducted and the doctor's report is now expected on April one. Legal aid lawyer Alex Kernick requested a two month adjournment to allow time to consider the report. Police alleged the former senior constables shot the two men using his service weapon at Bard's inner city home before attempting to dispose of their bodies. The attack is alleged to have been premeditated after a month long campaign of predatory behavior targeting Bart, who Lamar Condon briefly dated before the TV presenter began a relationship with Davies. Lamar Condon was sacked by the new South Wales Police Force in mid March. The matter will return to court on May twenty. A new social media campaign collaboration between TikTok and anti violence organization our Watch, aims to show young men what they can do to stop disrespect towards women. Research shows young men men want to take active steps towards change, but many feel they don't know how to and fear retaliation. Sexist jokes, talking over women, pressuring women for dates, and reinforcing outdated stereotypes adjust some examples of how disrespect manifests. Reaching young men in places they typically spend time in, like social media, was key to ensuring they were part of the conversation about respect, says our Watch Chief executive Patti Kinnersley. The social media campaign named respect It's the Goat, hopes to help young men overcome barriers to stopping disrespectful behavior, such as fear of backlash and isolation. The campaign is being backed by some of TikTok's biggest male creators, including Australian Olympic diver Sam Fricker and comedian Lachlan Fairband. Pope Francis is no longer using mechanical ventilation to help him breathe at night, and his doctors believe he will continue to improve, the Vatican says in the latest positive up as the eighty eight year old pontiff battles pneumonia. Francis has been in hospital for nearly five weeks for a severe respiratory infection that has required evolving treatment. The Pope had been using noninvasive mechanical ventilation overnight during his hospital stay, which involves placing a mask over the face to help push air into the lungs. Such ventilation has been suspended, says the Vatican, but the Pope is still receiving oxygen via a small hose under his nose.
