Right now, across the world, Australia's athletes are gathering for last minute training and competitions ahead of the 2024 Olympic games.

The road to Paris looks different for all our competing athletes, none more-so than someone staring down the barrel of the first time, as opposed to someone heading to their fifth games.

Today we meet first time Olympian Alanah Yukich & fifth timer Shane Rose before they pull on the green and gold for Australia.
