Joe Biden has recently announced that he will indeed be running for reelection in the 2024 US election. If he wins, he will again be the oldest President elected to office at 82 years old. 

After the 2020 election, it was widely assumed Vice President Kamala Harris, who was the first woman to hold the job, would be ready to step up for the next election. But what happened?
