Have you heard of the 78’ers? They’re the group people who first marched through the streets of Sydney in celebration of the queer community.

Unfortunately, not everyone was keen to partake in the partying, resulting in arrests, protests and violence.

Almost 50 years on from the very first Sydney Gay & Lesbian Made Gras and where are we at? We ask some of those original 78’ers their thoughts on just how far we’ve come.
