What Happens To Your Digital Footprint After You Die?

View descriptionShare

Have you ever wondered what happens to your online presence after you die?

Now with technology like AI and holograms, we're seeing a rise in reanimations to create a version of someone deceased to interact with long after they're gone.

We've seen Tupac and Michael Jackson appear via hologram at concerts, Kim Kardashian's famous father was immortalised as a birthday present to her and just last year The Beatles released a new single using AI technology to isolate John Lennon's voice from a late 1970's demo.

But how would you feel if someone reanimated you using your digital footprint? In this episode of The Quicky we take a look at the moral and ethical arguments around what to do with your digital remains.
