A recent episode of the iconic kids ABC show Bluey, has upset some parents.

There are claims of body shaming, fat shaming and poor behaviour modelling for kids.

It has raised the question about how we discuss weight in front of and with our kids, so that they are aware of the health implications of being overweight while also making sure they know that weight isn’t always an indicator of a person’s health.

So how do we talk weight, weight loss and health with our kids and ourselves in 2023
