A woman in her 80's has been flown to a Brisbane Hospital after becoming impaled on a metal stake while gardening on the Fraser Coast.
Local doctors did try and remove the 150cm long metal bar from her neck but only managed to cut it down to 15cm and send her off in the RACQ Life Flight chopper to Brisbane.
