Hello, Puzzlers, Welcome to the Puzzler Podcast the mysterious Dame in your daily puzzle film Noir. I am your host, AJ Jacobs, and I am here with our guest for the week, the awesome co host of Stuff You Should Know right here on iHeart Chuck Bryant.
Good morning, Aj. It's good to see you.
I am delighted to have you. As you know, I'm a big fan of your show, which has eighty five and twenty two episodes so far. That's that about.
Really, No, I don't know.
I made that up.
I don't think now, I don't know.
It's a lot.
But even like me trying to exaggerate it like it doesn't work because there are so many.
I think there's a couple of grand but yeah, something like that.
Well, it's an homage to Stuff you Should Know. We have come up with a special puzzle written by our chief puzzle Officer, Pliska, and we call it. We call it stuff you Should Blank. So the puzzle is every answer to the clue is a word that rhymes with no. Okay, I'm gonna give you three things that might be talked about on one of these rhyming podcasts and you tell us what you think it should be. So, for instance, if I say a canoe, a kayak and your boat gently down the stream, you might say.
Brow well, stuff you should stuff you should row, stuff you should row.
Okay, I got you, and you know these are free ideas if you want to pitch them to.
Yeah, yeah, no, I love it. I'm surprised they haven't spun us off in to like several shows like that.
Well I'm ready to help.
Uh.
All right, here we go, a baseball, a party, a.
Fit, Uh, stuff you should throw there?
It is okay, okay.
Number two a barge, a broken down car.
The line, stuff you should toe exactly.
Although there is a twist I realized as I was reading, because toe the line exactly, O t o e the line, not w So just we're aware of it, but we decided.
To go with it. So if podcast rules, house rules.
Your face, your hand, me the money.
Stuff you should show, stuff you should show exactly the stuff you should show show?
All right?
Two more, a dandelion, a gasket, your horn.
This has got to be stuff you should blow exactly.
All right, And finally I think this is appropriate to you. A beard, a vegetable garden a pair, a beard, a vegetable garden, a pair p a I.
R oh, but it could be pe a r. To be honest, sure, stuff you should grow, right, stuff you should grow exactly.
So get working on all those ideas. And thank you again for all of the delightful content you provided over the years, and thank you for doing this puzzle so expertly. Of course, where can we find more Chuck Bryant related content.
You can find it at Stuff you Should Know or my former retired movie interview show Movie Crush, of which you were a guest. But that's where you can find me.
I love it, and I love both of those shows. Before we wrap up, as always, a puzzle for you at home and extra credit time the aging process, your role time, the aging process, Your role, Puddlers, one last thing. If you are enjoying the puzzler, please tell a friend, tell an acquaintance, tell a random person on public transportation. We love making the show and we want to spread the joy of puzzles. We'll meet you here tomorrow for more puzzling puzzles that will puzzle you puzzlingly.
Hello once again, puzzlers, this is Greg Pliska. Hear from the Puzzle Lab with the answer to last episode's extra credit puzzle. We were playing name that very short tune with Ken Jennings in which instead of playing songs, we played sound effects from great game shows, just like Jeopardy as hosted by Ken Jennings. Here was the extra credit sound we played for you. Yes, old timers among you will recognize the timer from the classic concentration game show. I hope you all got that one, and I hope we'll see you back here for the next episode.
