Every dollar raised up to $185,000 will be generously matched by the Trafigura Foundation.

This prestigious event brings together distinguished guests for an evening of celebration, networking, and philanthropy. The L1 Foundation’s Annual Fundraiser Gala is a tradition in our community, which attracts nearly 200 attendees. Here to discuss the L1 Foundation, and the gala, is the Executive Director, Kendrick Jones, and the Community Outreach Coordinator, Carldeon Floyd. 

As the holidays approach, people will  be traveling all over the country. For the travel cheat code we have Kristen Daniel, United Airlines International Flight Attendant.  Kristen is going to share relevant travel tips to help us best prepare for busy holiday travel for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Menefee… wants you to have the knowledge you need to better protect yourself and your family this holiday season…and every day after.  We talk to Attorney Menefee about the program and what people can do if scammed. 

Houston Children’s Charity has two thriving programs during the Holiday Season. Through our Adopt-A-Family and our Annual Toy Distribution, we help thousands of families in need within and around the Greater Houston area. Since 2008, HCC has teamed with the U.S. Marine Toys for Tots program to provide toys for underserved children. Since 2010, Houston First Corporation has granted 115,000 square feet of space in the George R. Brown Convention Center to host our Annual Toy Distribution. Here to talk about the event is board member of HCH, and CEO of Frenchy's Chicken, Earnest Hunter II.

The City is proud to pay tribute to our men and women in the military by providing an annual “Houston Salutes American Heroes Veterans Day Celebration”. The traditional Veterans Day Ceremony will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 10 a.m. Our guest is Houston City Councilman, Pastor Willie Davis.
