City Council Member Tiffany D. Thomas is in to discuss the 2nd Annual Faith and Affordable Housing Summit, which brings together faith leaders, developers, realtors and financial institutions to explore how we can turn underutilized land into affordable housing that strengthens our neighborhoods. We are also introduced to Carla Bisong, Houston’s longest-running Black female commercial gallery owner, who also serves as President of the Houston Art Gallery Association stops in to introduce the inaugural Houston Arts Weeks, connecting with local Houston-based artists and spotlight on how proceeds will support local mental health organizations that use art and music as therapies for those with mental health challenges.
