A new fundraising initiative by the Lupus Texas Gulf Coast Chapter offers hope to lupus patients in greater Houston, supporting promising stem-cell therapy on the horizon. In partnership with Hope Biosciences Research Foundation (HBRF), the Lupus Gulf Coast Chapter is raising funds for a Federal Drug Administration (FDA)-authorized clinical trial in systematic lupus erythematosus (SLE), a specific form of lupus that affects multiple systems throughout the body.  Anne Marie Blacketer from the Lupus Foundation is here to talk about this promising treatment on the horizon for lupus patients.

Houston Metropolitan Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated is a newly chartered chapter in Houston, making history as the largest chapter ever chartered in the organization’s history. Additionally, we will soon host our 1st annual Jingle & Joy event, benefiting the Moorefield Boys and Girls Club. Joining us is the President, LaMonica Love, and the Program Director, Bianca Roberson.
