Former NBA Player, Coach, & TV personality, Daniel "Booby" Gibson has officially moved back to Houston and is hosting a back-to-school community block party for local kids on August 31st at PJ Tucker's "The Better Generation" facility. The Black Independent Filmmakers Association's mission is to provide a platform for dialogue, collaboration and education to assist Black Indie Filmmakers in their pursuit to create films that represent our visions. This will include film festivals, screenings and other events that showcase films of color. Here to tell us about their 3-day festival and the Staircase Awards is the VP of BIFA, Denice Smith Noir.
