• NGOs and reports have warned that the homelessness crisis in Kuala Lumpur has worsened over the years. The rising cost of living and lack of access to affordable housing have pushed thousands of people onto the city's streets. In this two-part series, Natalie Tan will speak with CK Chew, Chairman of Pertubuhan Kebajikan Seri Utama, about the organisation’s efforts to support the homeless in the Klang Valley. She will also discuss with Professor Dr. Calvin Cheong, Vice Dean and Deputy Dean of Education at Sunway Business School, about the systemic issues contributing to homelessness.
