There are times when it may seem bleak. David McCullough, the author of 1776, wrote that after the signing of the declaration of independence until December 15th of that year things looked pretty bleak for them. But clearly, it got better. Yes. Things could be better for us as well, but if you really think about it, we have great fundamentals, good systems, and a great nation!
