“This book aims to inspire professionals to think about how you can teach your skills overseas,” he says.

“Then — once you begin leveraging your professional qualifications to train others who maybe based near exotic locations — it is an opportunity to travel more broadly.

“I want to encourage people to step away from the glossy marketing of the global travel industry train, with its luxury hotels, pools and bright cocktails. Some of the most memorable and enjoyable times I’ve had have been in remote locations, far from the well-known hotels and package tours.”
