And on the third day there came The Phatt, just like it does every Wednesday morning from 7 a.m. on Phoenix FM here in Bendigo.
In a real change-up this week, Brett and Keith did exactly the same as they always do and opened with a bit of banter before rolling with their Australian-only music before getting to "I Don't Know Yet" where Keith found the new format to his liking, getting a majority of the songs right and picking Paul Kelly's classic Deeper Water for a full spin.
Keith stayed in the drivers' seat with "This Is Mine", bringing in his 7" single of 80's Tassie band MEO 245's debut "Lady Love".
In the second hour Brett and Keith had a great chat with Kerry Turpie from Forge Youth Theatre about what they are doing to allow more young people to access all aspects of theatre roles, from being on stage to those who may be backstage but are just as vital to the successful delivery of a stage event. Kerry told them how being involved in theatre productions helps build skills, confidence and self-esteem in people.
Other music that got a spin on this week's show;
Lime Spiders - Weirdo Libido
Body Type - Everything all in a Row
Samuel Winder - Cul De Sac
The Bridesmaid - Faith Hope and Vanity
Dragon - Young Years
The Corduroys - Saved a Life
