• Assume Good Faith: Because of the variety of practices post-Vatican II, Patrick encouraged us to assume good faith in others' expressions of reverence. The fact that they're present and worshiping is a testament to their love for Jesus.

• Liturgical Guidelines: Patrick pointed out that in the U.S., the Bishops Conference states that kneeling is the proper posture during consecration. It should be the way we give worship to Jesus in this moment at Mass.
