Sara Gopal from Riebeek College Girls' High School in the Eastern Cape is among the top 10 finalists in the Matrics in Antarctica journey.

The initiative, by Riaan Manser, aims to inspire young South African matric students to think about how our daily actions affect the environment, and what changes we can make locally to challenge the effects of global warming and climate change.

Sara will be heading to the legendary Cape Nature - Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve in the Western Cape in January 2022 and then the 5 finalists will be chosen. She chats to Lloyd Paul...
