Jes Foord is a well-known name in South Africa. Rather than being
silent and hiding in shame after her brutal gang rape, she chose to
speak out. She was raped at a small dam in Hillcrest in March 2008
- while her father was tied up and forced to watch. But, there is life
after rape - and survivors need to supported. With this as her
motivation, she formed the Jes Foord Foundation. As part of our
