It was cool for me, you know, obviously I was telling you I'd be out there all morning long. Got to do some the whole morning show, you know, my spectrum shout out the Spectrum News Born did the morning show out there from five o'clock to nine o'clock man five some to nine, and it was great. You know, you get in the whole atmosphere ready. John Lett, I don't even if I was suppara be saying, but John Legend was there joh I don't know what he's doing, but he was just there, so I'm imagining he might have some type of play, some part in this. But yeah, man, you can just feel the buzz in the air, and it was exciting. Obviously the Dodgers of the rainning World Series champs, so you know, a little extra buzz for them.
No doubt. And games are are ending and moments.
I just saw Wan Soto strikeout with a couple of guys on in the bottom of the in the top of the night for the Mets, they lose their opener, uh, three to one to the Astro. In for.
I thought I was gonna say no in for Larga.
Never heard of it.
Yeah, there you go. You know, sometimes it happens before.
Yeah, Alex gotten carried away. He started the day before.
Exactly there you go, and of course on the ones in two's.
Why yr bug and said.
Huh all right, uh, we gotta do we gotta do some dirty laundry and deal with this stuff.
I mean, we can't ignore it. Let's just be honest.
We cannot ignore what's happening out there in the atmosphere between stephen A Smith, Lebron James and it's ugly. Lebron went to ig did some put some stuff out there on stephen A. Stephen A opened up first take today when ballistic on Lebron and this is this is just crazy. We do have us stephen A's comments to open up and I think it went for fifteen minutes to start the show on first take.
Let's hear I suggest that he'd be happy with the things that I haven't brought up. I never brought up, really and never really discussed why you were not at Kobe Bryant's memorial service. I never really brought up with disgust why you did not attend Dwayne Wade's Hall of Fame in Duck when that man was directly responsible for you capturing a championship for the first time in your career.
I brought up none of that.
I didn't bring up the fact that even though when people had asked, you had alluded to what had happened tragically to your son and thank god he's okay with his heart condition.
I didn't bring up the.
Fact that even though you couldn't go to the Hall of Fame induction of the Wade weeks later, weeks earlier, you.
Were out of the country on business. I didn't bring that up.
That's your personal business, okay.
But the fact is you wasn't at the Hall of Fame induction of a brother that's gonna drastically assist to you being a Hall of Famer because he helped you become the champion that you were and he was a big brother to you.
I brought up none of these things.
But Lebron James, at the end of the day wants to come at me and he's walking around pouting.
M all right, what was your take on this?
Man?
Well, if we're going the full thing, including you know Lebron's post on social media, I tell you what, man has gotten extremely petty and has gotten extremely personal. And I didn't see this portion of it coming because both of them are knee deep in their profession and That's the part to me that it's shocking is because for all things people say about Steven A. Smith, one thing, for the most part, for the most part, for his long career being in the public guye he doesn't really go personal for the most part. He can say a lot about your game, he can say a lot about this, but he tries to keep it on the playing fields or courts of said sports. But when he brought up there, I'm not going to bring up that you didn't go to the Kobe Bryant memorial. That's when I knew, Oh, this is beyond. This is beyond just some uh, we're just having a little petty war.
This is personal.
Because he had to double back on Instagram and say I'm sorry, I was incorrect.
He was there.
You know, that wasn't my main point, but I do want to apologize because he was there, and that to me shows how wrapped up in this stephen A is because he is now he's been a you.
Know, very professional man, a journalist.
So for him to kind of not check on that before he said it shows me he's locked in, ready for war with this because he is now doing stuff he normally doesn't do.
Let's go to Lebron.
Lebron is trying to wrap up a season in the NBA, trying to get the team the top three four seed. Lebron's trying to get ready to wait, try to have a chance to win the fifth ring.
But instead he's being petty.
Lebron is going on the ESPN, but instead of going on with the guy I got the few winning, let's hash it out on TV. No, I'm gonna go to Pat McAfee, you know somebody who is you know, new words to ESPN, and I'm gonna help his show. I'm gonna help his ratings, I'm gonna help his social media followings. And that's gonna be a way of taking another stab at steven A. And then I'm gonna talk back about steven A. He's in his tighties and he's on these one dies a little you know, tighty tighty white and going at stephen A and going at him, and then so to the point later on today stephen A talking about he's the type of guy Lebron that will put a smile on your face and put a knife in your back. This is going way beyond just the normal jabbage dude. This is personal. This is something that is clearly those two are gonna have to work out because this is real for them. And it's disappointed to see two brothers I know who are extremely professional to take what they do seriously to go this far because it's not where where does it stop? Lebron's posting little videos and steven A, you know, working out, punching and making fun of him there Stephen Ain's saying what he's saying.
Where does it stop? Rob?
And that's the thing that to me makes me go, well, now it's gonna because eventually, does steven A have to say something he'd been holding back in the chamber for fifteen twenty years. Does Lebron have to, you know, then do something, say something he's been holding for ten to fifteen years, like where's the line? And I think we have now across that where I'm worried it's gonna get it can't come back.
I gotta say this and full transparency. Everybody knows steven A and I are friends. Okay, I'm not even gonna sit here and act like, Okay, we're friends, not TV friends, not friends because we are in the same business.
We're friends, right, Okay, But I'm gonna tell you this.
I'm gonna I think Lebron James is totally unprofessional and I'm gonna say that.
And you can push back.
On me that steven A is is going back at him and whatnot. But this all started where Lebron confronted stephen A in a in a public setting like warning this reaction, warning people to know whether you can make your point without having to do that. People can say, well, stephen A said, is on TV. That's what he does for his living. Stephen A didn't get it get by a TV station to rip Bronny. Do you understand what I'm saying. That's what he does. He works on television. And number two, Lebron is the one who won't let it go. I thought you made your point. Don't talk about my son. Whatever stephen A was there, there were no blows exchanged. Steven A said what he had to say, and now that should have been the end of it. Why are you continuing this? Why it doesn't make any sense. Lebron's too big for this and he's tackling one of the biggest guys in the media business. Stephen A ain't going nowhere. Guess whose career is longer stephen A's or Lebron's, and Lebron's play forever. But you can't have a forty five fifty year media career. You can't, and it makes no sense on Lebron's part. It's childish. You made your point. If you want to do anything else, pick up the phone, have a conversation.
I'm sorry.
If the roles were reversed and stephen A started, I'd be saying the same thing for Steve to stephen A.
I would.
Because he didn't start this. He was doing his job. Lebron didn't like it, That's fine. I got words for you, stephen A. Can you come to the back. Can I pick up a phone? Can we have a zoom call?
Chew them out? Whatever you want to do. I got that.
I've been chewed out plenty of times in my career by athletes.
Plenty. But this stuff here, and the.
Memes and all these other things and videos and common childish from a guy who is one of the greatest players who ever played. Concentrate on the Lakers. Concentrate on your team. Why are you wasting energy on a reporter that has no effect on your career, your legacy, it's a waste, am I right.
That's where it gets weird because at some point you would think, Lebron, look, if you want to play the game of who had the bigger moment, you ran up on him and you made you look you know, ooh, he ran up on him.
He looked tough. You could have entered it there.
I think the way the back and forth this is happening is because Stephen A, the day after the whole encounter on the court happened, went on on first take and actually was like, Yo, I'm gonna be honest. As a father, I can understand, and I think you know, we talked about it on our show and I actually was shocked.
I thought he was gonna do scorched Earth. He didn't do, and he didn't.
The problem I think in there, you know, and this is where I think he continues is then he's been on multiple podcasts since I should have did this.
Man, if he would have did this, I would have did it.
And then Lebron is in his petty bag, Oh really, what would you have done?
So?
And now it's just the bars back and forth, and and that's why I said earlier, Okay, well, then where does it end because now today Steve and they said what he said, you know, stabbing people, you know, he was stabbing the back. And you didn't even go to your man's uh you know, because now it's personal. You didn't go to your man's uh you know, ceremony, Hall of fame ceremony. You didn't go to Kobe Sting. Now again he had to retrack you. But my point is, now I've taken those personal barbs that you those jazz that you does Lebron come back and start this, Oh well, that's why you got fire from you know whatever like it is, so it should be over. And that's the thing because Lebron to be as great as he is, Lebron to be arguably in the contation if you want to say, first, second, third, whatever, to be the businessman, to stud all this. The petty is is actually it is uncanny, and that dude, you literally have it all. You have a beautiful family. You have your son on the same team as you with NBA. You have another son who's ball and looks like he's gonna go do greade in college. You have all these wonderful things, and it is perplexing because it's like, why are we doing this?
Why are we.
Turning around and going back and forth when you have the opportunity to just focus on trying to get your fifth ring. You got Luke on the team, you're trying to work on that. You're trying to focus on that. And it is unusual and it makes no sense for me for him to continue doing this, going on Pat McAfee show, doing an exclusive interview so long and in depth that he hardly ever does. This is why it's so perplexing and inn stephen A. Obviously, this is good for business, it's good for first take, it's good for his the steven A Smith Show, shout out to his show. So it's it to me. This is why it's gonna keep going. Lebron is showing no end to his petty steven A. Ain't gonna let you. I ain't backing down for nobody and that right, So so Rob gets a popcorn.
We might be here for a little bit.

Rob and I talking about Steven and Lebron's beef. It has gotten way too real. What side are you on? Lebron's fault? Stephen A's fault? Who decided to within? Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox?
Who we got?
All right, let's get as many as we can. Trey in Cincinnati, you're under they couple of Fox Sports Radio?
What's up? Tray? Hey, how you doing doing?
Gun Man? Appreciate the call, Man.
I know we're just nongu to say it real quick, man, Lebron gotta be kidding me. Man, get over it, build a bridge and get over it already. Why are you putting pants all that?
That's all I got to say.
No, I hear you, and the longer you stay uh, he's right. You know what I mean that you're this is what you're doing.
It's mad weird. I can't lie. You got a season ahead of you. Where y'all messed around and got Luca, got Lucas, and you're worried about this is and you're going on Pat McAfee show to be petty because not I shout out to Pat McFee up McAfee, but like you're literally doing this on purpose to you know, show Stephen a up exactly.
Uh.
Ian in Illinois, you're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up? Ian?
Hey, what's up? Guys?
How are you? Yoh, what's up here?
Good?
Love your show?
Thank you.
I just can't believe this. I mean, Stephen is what fifty seven? Lebron in his forties I remember forty one, forty two. Yep, they're acting like they're nineteen years old arguing over a girl. I mean, this is so stupid. Steven Ain't never should have said anything, Lebron should have ignored it, and now they're gonna How long is this gonna go?
I mean, that's what I'm wondering.
I'm hoping that there's gonna be some people to talk to both of them and just just say, come on, man, let's let's go.
Guys.
Are both giants are giants in your own fields, right, There's no reason for it. Uh, thanks, Ann, were appreciate it. Sean in Sacramento. You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Sean?
Yeah, but from another mother cousin Kelby, my brother's mind.
The boy it.
Happy opening Day, tell his best day in the sports, Yes, sir, But man, what cornball of Ron is gonna look like? Man, I'm not gonna lie. This is giving me major Drake versus Kendrick vibes. And you know, Stephen a is earning every single dollar on that contract. Can you talk about already paying off in the first three months. Not only did he get this man to do an interview on his network that drew in everybody and had all these outstanding ratings. And but not only that, but now they're carrying it on during the rest of the week when they don't even have the NCAA tournament or baseball.
This is just such a big payoff, man.
And I'll tell you what, Stephen Aate does this brother, just like Kate did it over the last summer.
He better watch his back.
And to me, Lebron fell out of the top five goats because this is very unbecoming of one of the greatest of all times.
It is unbecoming, There's no doubt about it.
I was totally with you on unbecoming. But stop it, Sean, because I just said it was unbecoming. I know, I'm talking about that Top fell out the top five because of this.
All right, big A in Texas, You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What's up, big A?
What it?
Dude?
Fellas?
How you would it do?
Man?
I really I wish they wouldn't go the round, but they're going. I wish after Lebron kind of you know one that Stephen Ay, I kind of wish after Stephen they addressed it that he would have just left her own on all those podcasts.
Kept bringing it up.
Kind of I probably would have done the same thing. But I'm just the regular guy and on top, you know, and Rob earlier, you know me know, I usually roll Richard or but Stephen A kind of started when he took that personal shot after him being a dad.
No.
But but but here's my thing, though, if Lebron made his point when he approached him.
At the game, that should have been it. That's what I'm trying. That should have been and that.
Should have been shouldn't have went on the podcast, No, but.
I'm talking about that that should have been Lebron should have made his point that if that was his point about his kid, then leave it there. You made your point. You talked to stephen A. Everybody knows you talked about him. Why are you continuing this? Come on, man, going on Instagram and all that, that's what he's worried about. One more call, let's squeeze and let's real quick. Drey and Michigan. You're in the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What's up? Drey?
Hey? What's going on? Fellas?
Hey?
Yo?
With this?
I'm good, I'm good man. I'm disappointing both of them. Dudes. Lebron is way too sensitive then number too a subjective? Why are you worried about that? And then he makes it hard from the roof on because he's so calculated. Because if you watch it, that Viga before he stood up in the pro stephen A Smith, Marcus Morris stood up between him like what you're doing though, and then he actually went over there like to kind of be able to stand between to make sure he didn't go too far. But I also agree too that you know Steve and Ay said the thing about his father yeah, that was supposed to be the end of it. But then still he's like the last call of say, stephen A went on all the other podcasts and now Lebron felt like he had to go back. And now stephen A coming out saying something and he's gonna get back because steven A pretty much started Jos stitching the day. Anyway, when we talk about I ain't say why you go to Kobe thing. I ain't say why you know? So you said it's something out there. So it's gonna get real bad. So he needs to squash because we don't need to see break taking.
Each other out.
We already gotta worry about other people. Don't do it amongst ourselves.
Man, I'm telling you what, boy, if they did it is a February out of really have some issues with him Black Black History monthy, Come on, now, what you're doing doing all this?
And they put the last little point on it right there.
That's the thing, Rob that I'm concerned about is when steven A brought up the d Way, the Kobe the stuff like that. Now it's like, now you you you are you really gonna let this go? Now Lebron, He's saying you didn't even show for you. Boy, you ain't even show for this. You ain't showed for that. And so now it's just to me where tomorrow or tonight even what will the next tweet or passive aggressive Instagram post be to keep this thing rolling?
Man?
So crazy? All right?
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. Catch all of our shows at foxsports Radio dot com and within the iHeartRadio app search FSR to listen live.
Joy now as we always saw our man, A d Antonio Daniels. You'd hear the music, you know, hey, everybody hus NBA Champion, Pelicans TV color analyst, Fox Sports Radio NBA analysts and you can follow him A Daniels thirty three on X What's.
What's happening.
Doing today?
Are doing good?
Ad?
You know we got the popcorn? Come on AD, you know. And Bron and steven A. Smith going back and forth all week and where are you at?
Man?
All right?
I mean I ain't.
I ain't nowhere, man, I'm not.
I'm disappointed in this whole thing. It's unnecessary. Why it's unnecessary? Lebron made his point right when he went over to steven A in public and Antonio. You know this as a former player and everything. If you have something to say to somebody, you could tell him after the game, come to my locker, come to the back whatever it could have been done and handled.
If you really had a point that you needed to make.
Well, here here's my thing. Here's my thing with this, like I think, and now I'm on the other side of it, in the media side. The thing I've become cognizant of is not what I say, but how I say it. And I think that's important. So when Lebron comes on and he talks about, uh, you know, people are so critical of the league and so on and so forth, he has a legitimate point. You know why, because people say nowadays whatever they want to say, whenever they want to say it. Like you know, people in the media are very articulate, very articulate. So there are a million ways to approach and say certain things. Being critical comes with the job, that comes with the title. You both know that.
But what Antonio, I gotta say this. I hear your point. That's not why the ratings are down, that's not why people don't want to go watch him.
No no, no, no, no.
But they're trying they're trying to make it, but they're trying to make it about how people are saying.
And here's here's my pushback.
First it was we don't want to hear from Skip Baylesses and the Rob Parkers and the stephen A's and all these people because you didn't play in the league.
Then when Charles Barkley.
And Kenny Smith and Shaq say it, they're jealous old guys because they didn't make the money that we made.
You can't have it both ways.
But here's the thing, and I've never I've never been on the side of that you didn't play in the league part because Greg Papavitch didn't play.
Thank you, I say thank you, you know what I say.
But Bill Belichick never played in the NFL either. Go ahead.
But here's my thing though, that that like we're not talking about reddings and none of that stuff. We're talking about human beings. And when people talk about the way that Charles Barkley says things, or the way that Sequille O'Neil says things, it's not what they're saying, it's how they're saying what they're saying, Like, we have to think about that, like it's not all things aren't okay to say because they're TV and anytime somebody responds to it like they're they're sensitive, but they are a different way to go about criticizing the guy or critiquing the guy than putting the guy down, you know what I mean, putting the guy down publicly questioning the guy's fatherhood in public. But I mean, I'm sorry, I don't side on either one of these sides. Well this guy, that guy. You know, you can see points on both sides. The thing that I the conclusion that I've come to, especially now being a part of the media, is being cognizant to not who I'm talking about, but how I'm saying it. I don't feel like just because I'm in the media that I should be able to say whatever I want whenever i want to say it without any pushback because I'm in the media.
Ad That's a great point, and that's the challenge that people have, because I love how people always forget that all you're worth this amount of thousands, this amount of millions, this amount of billions.
It's like you're still a person that things still hurt.
However, let me ask you this, Adie, how much does social media have to play with this where things are now exasperated.
It used to be one line in the newspaper headline, and you see it now for sure, you can't avoid it.
It's it's because if you follow forty five different sports pages and Steven A called you a blankety blank, it's on everything one of your timeline you just scrolling through. It's on your Twitter, it's on your Instagram, it's on your Snapchat, it's on your TikTok, and then and then.
Let alone, it's on your TV.
How much did this change for maybe even when you were playing before it to when you're playing during it and now being on the other side of it.
The thing is, I tell you it was a blessing. I never had to play with social media. I never played with social media. That's a blessing.
I hear the social media part, but I got it.
There's a bigger thing in the room that people just don't want to admit. Most of these guys don't want to be criticized. I just they don't want to be criticized. They want to make a lot of money, not play games, and not be criticized. And that's where the mall is, and now I really believe that they don't want to be criticized.
Let let's let's let's keep it a buck here. Who wants to be criticized.
But it's a part of your job when you take a public job, Antonio.
When you go on the air, hold on, I want to be honest.
When you take a job, you're not working at the post office, you're doing the Pelicans games. And there are people will say he's terrible. I hate listening to the games. I turned the radio or TV off, TV off when he's on. That that comes with you having a public job.
It just don't.
Here's my thing about talking about public jobs. We can't only use it when it works for our narratives. Like I have people that call into the radio or Syrus XM show all the time and they always say, well, you know what, at Mike nine to five, I can't do this, or at my nine to five, I can't do that. We can't use the public job as an excuse only when it fits our narratives, you know what I mean. So here's the thing. Here's the thing, though, Rob, I've learned over the year, I don't even respond to that stuff anymore, right, I don't even respond to it like no matter what, because the ninety nine percent of the love I get will never shine over the one percent of hate that I get. I won't allow that to happen. And my mother tells me all the time, baby, don't let nobody feel your joy. I would never let that happen. Bus I know I'm good at what I do. But here's the thing. Here's the thing. You know what's interesting about social media? To Kelvin's point, if somebody said something to me on social media, and even if I respond back, now I'm sensitive. Yeah, now I'm sensitive. So it's almost like being having a public job.
Rob.
That doesn't that doesn't give everybody the right to make you a punching bag.
No, but I'm saying, I mean, I get that.
I'm just saying, as a guy who was a newspaper columns for a long time and people didn't agree with my column or people I've been on the radio for thirty years, people don't agree with my takes.
It's okay, I get it.
You're not gonna agree with everything as long as you don't cross the line as far as racial or that's that.
That's it.
But you can criticize me all you want. I'm just saying I think, and.
I think that's the difference, Rob Kelvin, I think the difference is what's considered crossing the line. That's a second.
Yeah, I just think Lebron is. I think Lebron is above this. I really do or not? I really As a player of his magnitude, I just to be doing this.
You made your point. Just be done with it, isn't it though? Is it? Shouldn't he be focused in on the Lakers?
Both be done with it? Yes, I think they should both be done with it, not just Lebron. I think they should both be done with it. You know many you got me pick up basketball games I've been at and I've seen somebody cast somebody else out their name and it led to a fight. But then I can go play pick up game a day or a week later when somebody else called somebody the same name and nothing happens. Because everybody's version of crossing the line is different. What's crossing the line that you wrote may not be crossing the line to me. No, crossing the line to you, Kevin may not be crossing the line to me, But it's subjective. What crossing the line is to each individual person.
Yeah, well, I think the thing ad for me.
I think now we've crossed the lines where it's gotten personal now right, because now, yeah, now we've gotten the line where I even give Stephen A.
Smith credit.
I said at the beginning of our show today, I said, for most of his career, he doesn't dive into the personal, most most most most.
And he's on the first time he's done it.
This is the first time I've ever really seen him go this far and like saying, you didn't show up to such and such funeral, you didn't show up to such and such hall of fame, And that's where I'm like, oh, this is now the boxing gloves have been un come what the mouthguards are in boxing gloves, his fist, the cuffs, and I think that's where I'm like, all right, how does this stop now? Because Lebron, to Rob's point, you would think he'd be like, all right, I got my jabs off, I'm good, Now I got.
Games to do. He's sitting there and clearly telling us he's got time.
So my concerning worry is where Bard, now that we've gone so personal.
Where does it end that that that's my that's my thing too. Where does this whole thing end?
Is it a literal players?
Excuse me?
I said, is it a literal fight?
Because Stephen, as you know, had he touched me out and did it, and now Lebron making fun of his plunge and skills.
I'm like, so now y'all don't see each other again.
Like listen, man, you got you got the most one of the most powerful voices in sports media, and then you also have one of the greatest players of all time going back and forth with each other. And and and for me personally, I think there's there's a racial element to me this to the way. I hate the way it looks.
I'm with you on this.
I hate the way we even have enough time to get into all that right now. But I wish that somebody would humble themselves and be the bigger man and squashed this whole thing so everybody can.
Move on, no doubt.
Well said to end this, I we appreciate you, uh you know, talking about this because we can't ignore it. It's just too big, you got too tight in this business, and they're gonna have to be able to coexist because.
Neither one is going anywhere, all right.
And they're gonna see each other both.
They're two diversified and their businesses they're gonna run into each other. Appreciate you ad as always, man, Thank you so much, all right, appreciate it all right. On the way Sheckle City. See how Rob did on this yere opening day on a Thursday.

It's time now for Shekel City to d.
All right, I was two and one last night and now eighty and eighty on the year. I'm at five one, two and one, go eighty and eighty, very happy about that.
Here we go tonight.
Best bet Lakers minus four and a half at Chicago taking on the Bulls. I got Houston minus thirteen and a half. They're at Utah taking on the Jazz. I know I'm just gonna take Houston minus thirteen and a half and Sacramento's host in Portland. I got Sacramento minus five and a half. So Sacramento minus five and a half, Houston minus thirteen and a half, and the Lakers minus four and a half and Kelvin Yeah, remember this, I'm not telling.
You who to bet on. I'm telling you who I bet.
On, all right, speaking of betting, man looking at some of the odds or you look at you know, early season predictions for MLB on this here opening day, the obvious guess is you can say, Aaron Judge is gonna be up there, show hal tany those kind of guys continue to do what they do.
Who you got? Who youking?
Is there any maybe dark horses out there for you when it comes to MVP?
Anybody you're looking.
At, well, I mean, you know they could A lot of guys could could potentially get there. But it's hard not to think that Aaron, Joe and Oltani could be, you know, have the lockdown on this, don't you think, I mean, it really is special during this run here.
It's And that's the thing about two things.
One, I think the great thing in baseball having the AL and the NL is that. And I know you hate hearing this phrase, get ready, Rob voter fatigue. I don't think it exists as much in baseball because you have this separately. So if, like meaning if Barry Bonds, say won five six in arrow the Sire League, it'll be different. I think because you win it in your your league. I think it helps. Hey, you just with the best in this league. Hey, so and so is the best in that league.
But last year, like Bobby Witt Junior for the Royals had a great year. Any other year, he'd have won the MVP right over Aaron Judge in the American League. So there's guys like that who are good. I'm not saying it's a lock and those guys, but I'm just saying with Otani and with Judge and those guys.
I know, Judge had.
An RBI double today and the Yankees four to two win and just got a hit for the Dodgers, And I know he hit a home run in Japan in one of the first two games. Yes, so he's already off, yeah, you know, and so so those guys. Juan Soto hasn't won an MVP, right, So that would be a guy who has a shot with the Mets.
Yep.
To you, what the wonder is does it take him? Is it a San Diego Padre situation? Where it takes him a year or two to kind of get acclimated. He warmed up, get rolling, or is he right off the bat? Does he kind of you know, show hail Tani meaning I go to the new big team in the big city. Obviously he was in LA, but you know what I mean, I go to the Dodgers and then boom right off the bat, exactly what the expectations are fifty to fifty club, win an MVP, and win a World Series as well. Can can Soto do that where boom right off the bat? I'm doing that?
Or does it?
Is it another year where it's good, it's all star worthy but not that is a big question.
That's a big question because you gotta hit his first time up as a Met, so of course Mets fans were thrilled, and then he wound up striking out with the tying runs on base, you know, in the ninth inning, and it's just baseball, you know, But he I think he was one for three tonight today or or I know he had a couple of walks to one for two maybe, But anyway, my point is that that's how it is. You know, he has that ability. So maybe some other guys can win an MVP, But I just think Judge and Otani are gonna be like front runners for the next three or four years.
Yeah, it's just, I mean, they're absolutely where the money would go, you know what I mean. It's just and not to mention with Otani, he's younger than sometimes you kind of think, you know what I mean, So it's not like he's thirty four and this is I mean, he's still he's still got some time, you know, to to continue to do. He's only just turned thirty, you know. I'm sorry, he'll be thirty one. So those are the betting favorites for sure.
