Rob and Kelvin react to a wild Week 11, highlighted by the Bills ending the Chiefs' undefeated season. Rob explains why he thinks Josh Allen's go-ahead scramble TD run was not the play of the year as Jim Nantz stated. The guys debate how we should view the Chiefs now that they have a crooked number in the loss column.

It is a magic city. Monday man, what a show we have for you today. My goodness, gracious, don't forget in our number two Rod Woodson, the Hall of Fame, dB and Fox Sports Radio, NFL analyst, and so much more football Tyson. We're gonna get to the Tyson Paul fight. We will not not comment on that tobacco, but we'll get there.
Let me welcome in my pardner.
He is Washington.
What you mean debacle here? You're right. I can't even try it. I can't even try to lie out of this.
Yes, don't even try to like I can't even pacify it, justify to act like it wasn't a tobacco.
No, no, you were wrong about it. Just say it.
I was What do you mean I was wrong about it? I said it was gonna be Dibacca.
The only thing I needed was Tyson to just find some moment of strength and knock him down like some you know, last minute Samson. Okay, and we didn't get it.
We'll talk to that.
No, all we got was Mike Tyson's I know he buried at all in the in the ring, but my goodness, gracious, wait.
A minute, Rob Parker, this ain't the Magic City Mondays. Everybody was looking No, nobody them made the cheeks people was looking for on a Magic City Monday.
And the bad thing is I can't unsee it.
Regatively and literally because even if you try to, it's always popping up on the timeline.
Feel sick. It was not it was Mike.
Come on now, Mike, you know, good and well you could have had some long timmy John under wear it down to your knees.
Why he went full.
Moon on us?
I don't know, Yes, I don't know.
And the cameraman should be fired for panning down. What are you panning down for?
No? What is the camera?
The cameraman has a lot of a lot of splaining to do a whole lot of splaining that he thought, you know, it would be great for sixty million people watching to see more cheeks.
And I don't mean the NBA. That's right, and the other thing too, and we'll get there, we will.
But Netflix, I mean, what an f performance the buffer ring.
They just couldn't handle that, not for fantastic.
Thank god that the NFL gave them a gazillion dollars for two NFL games on Christmas. I think they have two, right, Like that's gonna work out. But the NFL did the check did the check clear? The check clear?
Okay? Then they could care less?
God forbid. This happened during Beyonce's performance. We'll talk about a little bit.
Later, but man crazy Yeah, all right, let's welcome into the odd couple of crew. We wouldn't be able to do this fine radio program without him. Alex is our engineer, Ryan is our producer and for Rob g Yes, we know Ryan because he's been wearing that Dodger baseball cap glued onto his hair since they won the World Series. He's the biggest Dodger guy going. And of course Steve de Seger is at the anchor desk. He'll keep us updated throughout the program. And Elijah who Elijah is our social media guru and he does some of the best work in the business. All right, Uh, let's go heare Kelvin and get it started. The Chiefs finally really lost the game that counted, But they've been losing games all year in my estimation, just for some reason that they haven't followed through.
Nine.
But I was that was a wishy washy nine and zero is all I'm saying.
And so they lose the Buffalo, right, big win for the Bills, and I get it, and everybody's excited. And we saw Josh Allen didn't have this great throwing game, but he had a big play twenty five yard on a fourth and two play right to get in the end zone, win the game. Give them a At that point they had a two point lead, right, game of nine point lead, which means that it sealed the game. And it was Jim Nance from CBS, who's a talented play by play guy. And I got nothing bad about Jim Nance the announcer or you know whatnot. He's tremendous as a Hall of Fame announcer, but he blew it on Sunday.
Bakes left now taken off, could a run twenty got it and then it goes inside to.
Turn the five.
Oh, the player of the year put the NFL.
And there it was the play of the year in the NFL. And here's why immediately you knew it wasn't the play of the year, because after that he had to come back and explain to the to the viewers why it was a player of the Year.
And I'll give you a perfect example.
You remember the Odell Beckham catch right for the Giants on Sunday Night Football and Chris Collinsworth yells out, it's the greatest catch I ever saw. And guess what he didn't have to explain it because everybody watching my right, but everybody, And it's not that Josh Allen. You know, it's a run to win again. They were already leading. Okay, they were already leading in the game, and they wanted to seal the game, no doubt about it.
I just I thought it was again overdone.
There are some plays I could just without even like going through my head. You might say, to play in Washington against the Bears, wouldn't you say that?
The the Hail Mary?
Right, yeah, the hair and Mary and not only that, you know plays oftentimes it helps when it comes with the story, right, So that was also the Jade and Daniels coming out story.
You're coming on party, Washington's gonna lose the game.
That won the game. Remember the Bills were already up to up to Where were you when you heard that? As far as Jim Nash, So, just.
So it's so funny you said that because in real time you're like, oh, oh, because he kept running. You're kind of like, oh, because you thought he'd just get the first down. Then you're like, oh, wow, he actually scored. That didn't make me think play of the year. At end the moment, I'm like, oh shoot, that was a that was an amazing great play. But just the couple off the top of my head boom, you mentioned the Jayden Daniels, hail Mary rookie. His team is winning, he's having a lot of success. It won the game here played with the defensive player talking to the crowd like that. Just the whole thing that happened there made that the play of the year. If you want to say that's a contender, then Lamar Jackson had a scramble that ended up getting him too the one yard line, but.
He would dance in the tiptoe on the sideline.
That made no sense for him to actually be able to gain maybe two yards.
Let alone get down to.
The play that we never saw before.
No, I'll lead you led me to literally what I've never seen so uh and that is Sakwan Barkley jumping backwards over somebody.
Thank you.
I never seen that in my life.
So those three players watching Barry Sanders in great running backs, we've never seen that.
A guy he.
Right, So those three plays quickly as far as just flat out a play aesthetics. In the moment, real time, he going, oh shoot, because the Josh Allen. Now that may be the play of the year for Josh Allen and the Bills ultimately in the long run. And I was explaining to you what I mean by that real quick. If they mess around and get the number one seed right in order to have a tie breaker with the Chiefs when let's say they end up in like fourteen or two or something, well then you would say, all right, that play got them the tiebreaker, and now they're in, you know, the number one seed in the AFC. So that can play be huge for whatever go ahead.
If they were behind and he did that, they were behind, I'm saying for them, no, no, no, no.
But I'm saying, like, that's why that play would have been bigger if they.
Won the game.
Yes, I agree, yeah, oh without a doubt, because because all of us still went, all right, how is Pat Mahomes gonna find a way to win this.
And kick like eighty on field goal? Right? Because exactly so. So the play was huge.
Now, I think the bigger part than just simply the call for me rob was the guts of the bills to say, nah, bump that, and I respect them for this. This is how the Chiefs beat people. You start overthinking, well let's just kick it. Well, let's just because if I why don't we cause then if they get it. But they said, man were going to win this thing, and you know he only needed two.
You didn't think he'd run for however long thirty.
Two and get the touch of fourth and two and they did what they should have done, which was try to win the game.
Scared exactly, and they kept he kept running and it's a great run.
I mean, I'm not a twenty five yard run to put this team up at that point, right up by nine or what I and then point nine exactly. But it just was the idea that Jim Nance had to explain it. I thought I thought that took away from it.
Right, Yeah, it was definitely.
I get him caught up in the moment because it's two great teams who are looks like it could be you know, AFC championship game. So I he was caught up in that, but he sat Kawahan Barkley did something we never seen.
Everybody was talking about that.
Jaydon Daniels threw hell Mary so clean, rookie, this team's winning and won the game.
That was up there as well. And then what was the third one?
We said?
And then h LaVar Jackson's scrambled down to the one, which was absurd because you're like, he'll be lucky to get two yards out of this. Somehow he manipulates to the sideline and got to the one. So those three were all better plays to me. But ultimately that could that play could play huge dividends if they end up with a tiebreaker over the Chiefs, get the number one seed in the in the playoffs, and ultimately can pay dividends in the AFC Championship game.
I get that, but just.
Period the moment when he's saying it, he doesn't know that, do you know what I'm saying? Like, if this was the last game of the season and that gave them the lead right they were behind, and gave them the number one seed, then that's a whole different story.
Yeah, No, it was. It was a great play. You could argue top five for them, but it wasn't player of the year because Squon. Everybody was talking about Saquon at the water cooler type play. Everybody's sitting in the dm YO.
Did you see that? This is crazy? Memes were made out of it.
Everything that alone was huge, And of course we talked about the Heil Mary so uh. But kudos to them for having the kahunas to go out and win a game. He They're undefeated against the Chiefs, Josh Allen in the regular season, and so there is something to that that he has their number a regular season, but ultimately can't he get it done in the postseason. He did what he's supposed to do, win that game. That's all you can do. So I give him extreme credit for that. But now for him, it's go out and get this thing done in you know, January ultimately. But a good game for him. And it also was a play, as you know, Heisman plays MVP candidacy type plays that gets him in the you know, in the mix of a top two, three, four MVP candidates right now.
No doubt all right eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven six sixty three sixty nine one to hear from you, Josh Allen, the big scamper touchdown sealed the game for the Bills.
Were you are you in Jim Nancy's camp?
Were you yelling the same thing despite not having a microphone at home and saying play in a year. Did it move you like that? Or were you like okay? Jim piped down a little over the top. We want to hear from you, and if not, if it is the player of the year, we want to hear it. If it's not, which one do you think is the player of the year. We just named a few that could be. Maybe you have something else that we're overlooking. I don't know about Player of the Year, Jim. Where are you at this eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox? Player of the Year. Maybe you thought it was Maybe you thought it wasn't. Which ones do you like?
Hit us up? Who we got wrong?
All right, let's start with Andrew. I saw Andrew in Bakersfield, California. You're on the Odd Couple Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Andrew?
How's it going?
Guys to yoaight? How are you?
I'm okay? So I'm blind. I became blind in twenty eighteen. So I've heard people talking about the sa kuon Barkley Play. I was wondering if you guys could explain it to me because I don't understand what he did.
Okay, go ahead, Kelvin.
Yeah, so you've seen at this point prior to you losing your sight. So shout out to you for still you know, getting in and paying attention to sports and rocking with us too.
We appreciate you. Wish you'll do best.
So you've seen, guys, Hurtle, Guys, you've seen it for twenty thirty years, running running, running, Here comes right and here comes the defender.
He's low and you jump over.
What would happened with Sakon Barkley was he caught a pass in the backfield and he turned it up phield. So he already had ah shake off one guy, which was remarkable, spun off him, so you already that was nice. Hit another dude with the got by him. And then right as you're like all right, the plays over. He's getting ready get tackled. The guy goes low. He kind of got spun around from shaking the last guy. He being Sakwon bark He jumps in the air backwards meeting but to the guy's face man right and jumps over him, I mean clears him. Andrew clears him as if he saw him, but he really didn't. It was remarkable that no man never seen it. Andrew ever in the NFL and he lands it probably picks up another yard or two. It was just remarkable. So that is right there, will playing and now it wasn't for the game, but if you're talking just pure play, that might be player of the Year. And then if you want to go because of the outcome, you can go to Jay and Daniels. It was to win the game, right the hail Murray? Yes, correct, I appreciate the car. Andrew wish you the best, brother.
Thank you appreciate it. How about uh?
Is that that's d in Texas? You're on the EYD couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What's up? D? What up?
Hey?
Appreciate it, guys.
How are y'all doing good? Well?
Awesome?
Also, no, it's not play of the year.
But before the Saquon, don't forget about that Garrett Wilson catch.
Oh yeah, that was crazy, go catch right? That was another catch? Yep.
They called that man the Jordan catch. It looked like the logo the jump Man.
The only thing is and you know me, I'm not I'm just d I'm keeping it real. Those sticky gloves. You know, I'm just the sticky glove man. They've been sticking since the eighties. Rob, Come on, now, what we're gonna stop? Right, sticky gloves? Come on now, I've been doing it for thirty years. No, they don't give in like that.
You.
First of all, what's that man name? I'm not about to run here called Kelvin?
You're that man named that's E E E all right, Yeah.
I mean Kelvin.
Just because your gloves have been sticky for a long time doesn't mean I'm just saying Rob.
You see, I got all these kids. Come on now, Rob, you don't want them free free in Vegas. That's the face big time Masons back. You know you give the next call before I get on you. That's right, Mason in the Bay Area. You're on the odd couple of Fox Sports Rading. What's up, Mason?
Hey guys, Hey guys, great show today.
Thank you appreciate it.
Yes, sir, always. Uh So, Here's why I do think it was the Player of the Year because of the hype going into it in the moment. So, I mean, we all know about hype going into something. We all have this Jake Paul Tyson thing, and that didn't live up to the hype. I'm saying this game did live up to the hype in a lot of ways. A lot of people wanted to see the Chiefs beat. I mean, no one wanted to send you in no season. That's all on the deck. When we're talking about this play, I get it. You could take contingulate play, and I think today can play in a single you know, zip lock. Nothing else matters. Magnifying glass moment. Yes, that is at.
But the only but the only problem here. Let me let me push back on you, Mason. Here's the only problem. They were already leading. It didn't put them ahead. I understand it sealed the game, right, but they were winning.
Do you do you see what I'm saying.
We've seen this so many No, no, no.
No, I don't care what we've seen. I don't care what we've seen.
No, no, no. My point.
My point is I'm giving it to you that it sealed the game. I don't know if you watched or saw the stats. Mahomes didn't play well. I mean, like Kim like a couple of picks less than two hundred yards passing. It was It wasn't like it was some masterpiece that Josh Allen ended. I think Josh Allen, what did he have one one passing touchdown to.
Yeah he had he had a touch interception, But he had a solid game, right, That's what I'm saying.
One spectacular is all I'm saying on either side. But it was I give him the credit that they won the game. But I think if if that was clock running down fourth and two, they're losing.
And he runs it in, Oh yeah, now we got a.
Different I'm not listen, I'm not mad at it.
If you're if you're if you're bringing in these two teams, two of the better teams in all the football have had a great little rivalry the last few years. And you know, I get all that, but just pure aesthetic watching the player that makes you go, oh it was up there.
But it wasn't that Saquan.
That Gary Wilson catch was a ridiculous and Jade and Daniels hell Mary to win the game.
It's another one to win the game that they lost. We got one more.
Dave in Los Angeles, you're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What's up, Dave, Hey, what's up?
Guys, thanks for taking my call.
I appreciate it. Yes, sir, I got one for you here.
Okay, one has all the elements you're looking for. DeMarcus Robinson, one handed grab in the end zone in overtime on the road to win the game. Amazing play, amazing catch. I was jumping out of my seat.
I'm around Sam, but I thought it was spectacular.
Okay, I'm not mad at that yet. And there you go.
You got all of the elements and he's right, spectacular catch to.
Win the game right over time. Oh my god.
And that's that to me, is where you start talking about a play of the game.
Yeah, plays play the year, play the year, play of the year. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I have to listen.
I'm not gonna beat somebody up for thinking that was a player of the year in the sense that it was incredible and it was a big game, and it's a big player and it might have been his Heisman moment, if you will, for the MVP candidacy, which as you both we both agree, give it to Lamar now less he just throws four in the game for the last six seven games.
But it's Lamar's to be lost.
But I get that like this was a signature moment against two good teams who have had rivalries, and he might have made a case for himself to be a top three m VP candidate, But it's still just the pure shock value of in the moment, like, oh, shoot, it didn't grab me quite like that. But I get I'm not gonna beat some audio.
But do you disagree with my idea that he.
Has to explain it that that that takes away from it.
Yeah, I wonder if somebody was in a Hey, Jim Man, that was really good play. Butakwan jumped over human Vince Carter duncked over.
Him, then you can you tell us why you think this is the player of the year because.
That was played here.
But James Daniels, if you call rookie through a game winning touchdown, Hell, Mary, I don't know if you call that gym. I just throw it in here like somebody, Wust says. So he's like, oh, let me remind you what I mean, Let me.
Let me tell you why. Oh yeah, it was it was a player there.
All right, Hey, there's uh, you got some splaining to do on the other side of this update, mister Rob Parker, I want to hear you get displayed in some stuff.
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. Catch all of our shows at foxsports Radio dot com and within the iHeartRadio app. Search FSR to listen live.
Rob clearly the big game, as we just had a couple of callers talk about, was this Bills Chiefs. You know, in a perfect world do you look up that was an AFC championship type game. Obviously no prop. The Ravens would want to have something to say. The Steelers wol want to have something to say with that as well. But a great game lived up to the hype. Great play there by Josh Allen, as we discussed. But now we have the raining champs with their first loss of the season. I kind of find them. I'm saying good. Nobody expected. I didn't think we were gonna go undefeated. We lost to a really good team who, for whatever reasons we struggle with in the regular season, they always beat us. And I viewed it as a just okay, little wake up, little smack in the mouth. We can't keep escaping these ways, these you know, narrowly winning these games.
We can't keep who dening our way out of games.
We got to start locking in and find ways that have complete games, dominate a game, win a game where from jump rop we won the game from jump we Detroit Lions did where it was a clear cut win. So I look at the Chiefs trying to find a way to do that. Realize they can't just to keep escaping because you're not gonna be able to keep escaping all the way through the postseason. So lock in five ways to get better, tighten things up. And this was a reminder of that. Teams are getting better. The Bills a getting better, the Steelers are getting better on the NFC, the Lions, the Eagles. Teams are getting better, and they better find a way to do so as well.
Yeah, I just think when I look at the Chiefs, they should be five and five or something. I mean, you talked about it being Hoodini winning games. They got no best business winning other teams allowing.
Them to take the game at the end.
Or they got lucky with the block pawn and they got against the Ravens Game one. You know, the receiver makes a catch with no time loft a great throw by Lamar right now everything its footage on the line. It's called a touchdown and they have to review it and then you see that it's not you know, and there were other situations and circumstances.
Here's why I say that they're lucky. Okay, we all know Patrick Mahomes.
Is a great quarterback and it's had some career this year, all right. In that game against the Bills, one hundred and ninety six yards, three touchdowns, two picks Kelsey two exceptions for eight yards in that game. Okay, for eight yards Mahomes. Yes, and Mahomes this season, you ready, passing yards per game two hundred and forty point four, worst in his career, touched yards per past, seven yards per pass, worst in his career, touchdown, the interception, fifteen touchdowns, eleven interceptions, worst in his career, passing rating ninety point three, worst in his It is mind boggling. And we talk about all the time that their defense has been much better and saved their butt. But Patrick, playing this way, you can't keep relying on miracles. And that's why I always thought they're nine and Ozero whatever was fraudulent.
It just was like they won, and we talked about it. I say it all the time.
Sports has a short menu wins and losses, and that's what you're playing for. But you do have to take a look a deeper dive to see where a team is the same way I said a couple of years ago that the Steelers had the worst They were the worst ten and o team I'd ever seen in the NFL. And then what they do? They got blown out. You're remembering the playoff game against the Browns. Right when they went to the playoff game against a good team and the Chiefs, you just talked about it. There are some good teams in this league and they gonna have a shot. I know people were like, oh, the Chiefs, because I heard it from all the Chiefs fans, all those guys. They all disappeared yesterday. I to hear a word from them. But they're all out there.
Oh they're gonna go undefeated. They're gonna three pete.
What are you gonna say?
Then?
No, the Chiefs nothing.
They know that they've been lucky, and that's why I say five and five, all things being equal, But they're nine and one and they got work to.
Do, so they after, of course, the Lions get that big win. It's funny because now they have them as the prohibited favorites in Vegas to actually go ahead and win, not only get to Super Bowl, but win.
Okay, I just want to I don't want to burst your bubble. Okay, I just want to tell you know how Vegas works, right of course.
No, no, no, don't. Dot's not make this a Lamar Mitchell bet segment. The only reason why I bring that up.
No, I'm but it's not that Vegas thinks the line's gonna win the Super Bowl. They gotta What they're trying to do is get as many people as possible to put money in.
No, no, no, I know that.
Come on, now, I get where I'm going with this is the Chiefs.
When I was going back to your point of oh man, they're gonna go un defeat it like they nobody can continue to watch them and think they were gonna go and defeat it.
Right, I'm with you.
There's too many good teams who will have their number, and your kicker is gonna miss the field.
Gorgan a block or.
That last magical play that Patrick Mahomes maybe it's intercepted. I mean that was an inevitability. What they have to do is to you know how they say the book is out. I think the book is out on Patrick Mahomes to an extent. Of all of the magic. He's still able because of the defense, still because of the schemes and schematics of Andy Reid to make the right play three to four times a game, whether it's with his legs or his arm, to win a game.
But the idea of.
Flat out bringing and dragon teams and it don't matter if they're catching it or not.
He hasn't been able to do that for two seasons now.
Remember that, right, They used to bludgeing people and game over what And he was just throwing up four touchdowns five touchdowns, three on the air, one on the ground, three hundred yards four on us.
He's not doing that.
I think the Bok is out to an extent, losing some of the injury, losing their start and running back of course, losing a rice. I will want to, you know, give him the grace and understanding in that. If they got to find a way, which is why I was screaming for them to go get Mike Williams, get another big receiver relays. Obviously they got the you know Hopkins, which was good, but they could have used one more so I think the issue or the challenge is going to be for them to find a way, a rhythm, some more schemes getting go out. If it's getting the ball out quicker. You remember when Tom Brady had to just start throwing one and a half yard slants. Hey, it was ugly, it was annoying, but it worked. Maybe that's what Patrick Mahomes and the team will have to start doing one yard slants. If it's just strictly running the ball more, if it's just you know, figuring out whatever ways they can continue to produce more offense, because that's gonna be the issue. They run up against the Ravens, they run up against them for whatever reason, if the Bengals have the nerve to make it, or the Steelers that Steelers defense can go defense to defense with them, and then they can and say, are you gonna be able to score?
Uh?
And the Chiefs have shown that they can't score like they used to. So if they run up against or even if they were to get to a Super Bowl against the Lions, against again the Eagles, a couple other teams that are able to produce points, can it can be something that they're gonna have to worry about, so I'm interested. I think that's why I think this loss was a good one for them to say, Hey, we can't keep pulling off these udiniacs, skin of our teeth, skin of our you know, the the the bot pulling it off by the chin on our hair.
Whatever the phrase is. I want to skin of Mike Mike Tyson's cheeks. I don't know.
We don't want that, and that was too much cheeks in my face. I still I'm tempted to go, where's Will Smith when I need them to? Men in black meet Tobby Lee Jones with a little radar laser gun thing.
So I don't remember anything, because then nobody want to know.
Mike like that.
So we'll see, Hey, Sheko City on the way.

It is right, Shekel City. Locome to Shekel City for Rob Parkers Dalley Dicks against the scratch.
Give me the money shot, all right, you know how close I was to we're going up three and oh and you know getting back to five hundred. I went two and one on Friday, so that now makes me sixty two sixty four and two two.
We'll trip you up.
Toronto, I think was the game they the the Bucks won, but they won by seven to spread with seven and a half, so one point they yeah, one point, and I'm I'm back to equal, which would have been incredible.
You know how bad I was on a bad losing street.
Yeah no, and listen, man, one thing about me. I'm gonna give your props. You didn't came back. You didn't came back a little bit.
I turned it around.
All right, Here we go tonight, best bet, let's start here.
I got the Milwaukee Bucks tonight. I'm all right, here we go. I'm sorry, I think he misremembered. I got it. I got it, all right. So the Milwaukee Bucks minus three and a half. They're hosting the Houston Rockets. Okay.
Then we got the Warriors minus five and a half. They're in Los Angeles playing the Clippers in that beautiful new arena that has horrible food, but it's a great place, all right. And the last game, I'm gonna take the Texans, the Battle of Texas, the Texans over the Cowboys. You keep saying, well, the Cowboys gotta win. Eventually, They're not gonna lose every game at home. They're so bad with the quarterbacking, you know, and the injuries and whatnot. And the Texans need to win. They're the ones coming off that five interception game by the Lions that they lost.
I mean this is a big game for the Texans.
So I got the Texans minus seven and a half taking on the Cowboys at Jerry's World. And again the Cowboys zero to four at home this year and they've been demolished almost in every game, not almost every game, in every game at home. So again, Texans minus seven and a half, bucks minus three and a half, and the word is minus five and a half.
And remember, Calvin, what's that. I'm not telling you who to bet on. I'm telling you who I bet on. I was wrong. I've been right lately.
Well, listen, you have been right lately. I do think you picked the right team. Though, when you're talking about the Texans, listen.
Man, they needed and I know you're down on them, whereas I'm more like, dude, they're missing Collins, they're missing Digs and so you know that would obviously change the game.
Get that.
And I'm not I'm not discounting who they'd lost. But all year they don't score on a second. They have seven touchdowns all year in the second half. That's incredible.
Nico Collins expected to play, We'll have to wait and see, because remember last week they were like he may play as well, and he didn't, so I think that changes things dramatically getting him back. He was leading the league and receiving balling out before his injury back in Week five, so that's a big get for them. They've lost three out of four, they being the Texans, and I to your point, they lead their division, the AFC South, But but I don't think that's what they're you know. I think their barometer is clearly winning the division, but being one of the best teams one two to three teams in the AFC getting a home field advantage one teams one or two maybe get a buye. That was their game plan coming into the season. So I think for them, Hey, what do you say about Dallas General Hospital? Everybody comes and gets.
Better, right, That's what they are, a general hospital of the NFL.
So I think this is perfect for the Texans. Just what the doctor ordered they had to buy. I'm sorry, come off that lout wasas they get to god an extra day or so, you heal up, you rest up, you look at some more film, and you go into a terrible Dallas team with a terrible situation where at some point you can tell and you see it. I think that happened with the Jags and the Lions, I think they just tap out, you know, I think they tap out, and players are already starting to think where I'm gonna take my boot. We going to Cabo, We're gonna go to Tuloom. I'm gonna take her out to the Bahamas. I think the Dallas Cowboys players aren't there mentally, Dak's not there.
They're losing.
So I expect this to be a fairly easy win and for the Texans, but more important if they lose this game, the same the Texans was, Oh yeah, that's a that would be a horrible loss. And I think even a barely win, you know, they went by a field goal or something, is a bad look. You need to go in there take care of business on the team that has not won at home, because everybody else has been doing it. To him, absolutely, they looked terrible. And for you, specifically, CJ. Stroud, you looked great MVP candidate type guy first half versus Alliance. Then you fell off hard and all of that, Rob, all of that wasn't on that offensive line. Some of that was him panicking rushing throws. O. Remember the guy was wide opening the end zone and he just overthrew him like completely. It ends up being an interception because he just he threw so much air up under there.
So some of this is on CJ.
Stroud to play better when the circumstances aren't perfect and also when it's just a play to be made. He's left a lot of plays to be made on the field and he's got to be better.
And there were a lot of people picking them to go to the super Bowl, which I think was way too premature, despite I get it they felt like what they did last year. But you know, there's a there's a reckoning. You know, people have film on you. There's an adjustment. It doesn't mean that you can't be good, but it's just it's not automatic.
It's just not automatic.
I mean, Lamar Jackson sitting here like hello, I know it ain't automatic.
Josh Allen sitting here like hello.
You know.
Shoot, you know, this is a handful of teams who are sitting there like man, I thought it would be us who could get in there. Not necessarily the case, but so this would be this would be a good one and a good one for the Texans, and that a great time to get right, you know, right the ship get a win, go to seven and four, nice cushion in the division, and then I ultimately trying to play.
For it, they lose and it's six and five. I think people are gonna be as bad disappointed.
Well, aside from Mike, well, you can say Mike Tyson's cheeks with the biggest story and the fight with cheeks too.
We'll talk about it. Fox Wort's radio man
