All right, strap yourselves in for my next guest. I'm so excited for this. I truly am. Tomorrow night on SBS and SBS on demand, there'll be an Insights episode. We all love Insights. Great AUSI show on sex and subscribers tomorrow night, eight thirty A big topic, big cultural phenoen on topic at the moment is Only Fans. Someone who's doing just that any night. She's got such an interesting story. We'll be featuring on Insights tomorrow night. She joins us here at the night show. Hi Annie, thanks for being here.
Hi, no worries, Thanks so much for having me my pleasure.
Listen. I've heard your story and it's so nuanced, there's so much in it. I want you to tell it, but quickly. You're an Only Fans creator, You've you're a sex worker. You've been making sexual content on Only Fans since twenty twenty. Some interesting stuff happened with your job, essentially, long story short. Once your work found out you worked in marketing, once they found out you were a creator, you were fired.
Right, Yeah, that's exactly right. Yeah, my first son, The Only Fans is a bit of a side hustle, Like I was sort of keeping it on the lowdown, on very low key, so my work wouldn't find out. Just a little bit extra money, I guess, so I could buy a house in the future. And then once I started it, I realized just how much money you can make from it. People on TikTok say, oh, I want you to start an only fans and I just thought, if they can make that much money, then I can too. Yeah.
So were you an overtly sexual person before? Had you ever done any sort of sex work or did you sell any nudes?
No, not at all. This was like I just went from zero to one hundred.
Basically, okay, Right, So you started posting like lingerie photos, which then turned to naked images and videos with other people. Then that progressed to OnlyFans. How did that make you end up losing your job at the marketing firm? How'd they find out?
So? I had been at this new job as a marketing manager for five days. It was a new job, and on the fifth day, in the morning, I got an email from my manager and she asked me for I had any side businesses, And at the time I didn't consider if I had any other outside businesses, and I said no, because at the time, you know, I wasn't earning enough for it to be a business or like tax, you know, being charged tax or yeah, I get I said no, And then I had a weird feeling all throughout the day and I actually went home to stick that day, and sure enough, as soon as I got home, I got an email with a letter of termination because they found my only fans and they had attached screenshots of my only fans in the email.
Well, shit, we at least they subscribe. You got an extra bit of cash. At least you got some money. That's awful any and is it? I mean, god, I mean I'm open minded. Right to me, this isn't a problem. But I'm not an employer. I don't run a business. I don't have classic morals. Is it discrimination?
Yeah, one hundred percent, especially someone who you know. For me, I was working very much behind the scenes, like no one ever saw my face. I was stuck in an office at the back of the building. So it really wasn't an issue in my opinion.
Wow, I mean a here on my show, on the Night Show. If any of my staff were doing it, you know, full props to them. Make you make your money on the side. I couldn't do it if I wanted to, but I would go into negative. No one would want to see me. But that shocks me, and I'm so sorry you had to go through that. You're not public facing in the company. I think it's really wrong.
No, yeah, and I'm never access the website from the company office or anything like that, So yeah, I agree.
You best believe your bosses had subscribed, they'd be all subscribers using fake anonymous names, fake offs atouts, And I think it's awful. If you want to get more of any story insights is the show SBS on demand eight thirty tomorrow night. It's sex and subscribers. Are you comfortable disclosing how much you're making on OnlyFans? I'd be so interested to me, Yeah, yeah, for sure. How much do you post a week? And what's your what does your work week look like? How many hours a day are you working? What are you doing? What are you filming? You're filming with other people? Like, what's a normal schedule for you?
Yeah, so I'm posting twice a day, okay for only fans. I'm probably filming one day a week maybe for an hour, maybe two hours, okay, so very minimal work, so obviously a great reward.
Yeah. So do you are you filming? I mean, you know, if we're raunchy content here, guys, if you're listening, but this is are you do you work with collaborators? You're working with other sex workers? Or is this just your content?
No? Yeah, I do collaborations with male creators, girl creators. Yeah, all kinds of content.
Wow. Okay, and if you're comfortable with me asking. So many people in the car would be intrigued because we're hearing about only fans. How much are you making on by making videos on only fans?
Yeah? So at the moment about twenty three thousand a week?
Twenty three thousand dollars a week.
Yeah, it's crazy in this economy.
That's incredible. Hold on, and how much are you making at the marketing firm?
About seven grand a month?
Oh my oh god, that's incredible. So wow, can you break down those costs for me? How how has it gone up since you've started? When you started, you were clearly making a big zero. And then how have you grown that audience and how did you get to that cash?
Yeah? So when I was doing a part time whilst I was doing marketing. It was very much. I wasn't posting that often, maybe like once a week, so I was just earning like, you know, three grand a month maybe. And then when I got fired, I was like, let's just do this full time. Let's you know, go do it all. Yeah, so literally pasting twice a day, yeah, and all kinds of content and yeah, in that first month, I think I earned thirty five thousand.
Oh my god, any only fan do you pay? You obviously pay tax on that. What's the commission that goes to OnlyFans?
So they take twenty percent?
Okay, that's pretty that's equitable. That works out? Do you think is that fair?
Yeah? Yeah? Yeah, oh yeah, well that's so the thirty five thousand that I earned, that's after the twenty percent had been taken.
Wow. And how many hours would you say you're working a week.
For only friends? Maybe like five or seven hours a week?
Wow? For that kind of money, that is actually incredible. Any How have you found the stigma with your family and your friends? Is everyone okay with it? I mean, have you had struggles with anyone in that realm?
Yeah? I definitely lost a lot of friends when I first started doing it. You know, they called me crazy, They told me I was ruining my life and they just couldn't handle it. Felt very judgmental, and I cut them out of my life because obviously I don't have time for those types of people.
Yeah, no, you should stuck around. You could have got a prider bag for your birthday. So good to have you on the show Inside Tomorrow night, SBS and SBS on demand any night. The pleasure is always, thank you, thank you, no worries,
