Alabama trounced the BYU Cougars in their Sweet 16 game 113-88. With the win, the Crimson Tide advances to the Elite 8 in back-to-back seasons for the first time in program history.
Veteran guard Mark Sears led the team in scoring with 34 points and 10 MADE 3-POINT SHOTS. Aden Holloway (23 points), Chris Youngblood (19 points), and Cliff Omoruyi (10 points) also scored in double figures for the Crimson Tide.
Alabama will play the winner of Duke and Arizona in the Elite 8 for a chance to advance to the Final 4 for the second season in a row.
