We spoke to Rand water some time ago about their planned maintenance which will take place from 22 June to 29 July 2024. This will affect water distribution to the likes of City of Joburg which will in turn, affect water distribution to Joburg residents. Water issues also continue in Tshwane as there were reports yesterday that the City of Tshwane is cancelling a process of awarding a tender for distributing water in informal settlements after it detected possible corruption with the potential to taint the contract.
