Tshenolo Pitse struggling to cope with sister’s gruesome murder - Zodwa Zwane

View descriptionShare

We revisit the story of Tshepang Pitse, the young woman whose dismembered body was found in the freezer of her husband and cousin in Protea, Soweto. The suspect Flavio Hlabangwane who is currently in police custody, reportedly killed Tshepang, dismembered her body and kept the parts inside his fridge. A few weeks ago we spoke to Tshepang's sister Tshenolo Pitse, who revealed that her sister was in an incestuous relationship with Hlabangwane for five years and how Tshepang was abused reportedly by Hlabangwane, who was very controlling. Tshenolo Pitse did not only lose her sister but she lost her mother as well, who was a nurse in the UK, who died under mysterious circumstances for supposed insurance pay-out. Tshenolo has been left alone to fend for herself. But Zodwa Zwane, a former personal assistant of the late Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, who we also spoke to during our interview with Tshenolo has managed to help her with accommodation, with the assistance of the Gauteng government. So how is Tshenolo coping since this traumatic ordeal?
