Yesterday we spoke to an unemployed doctor who is part of a group of doctors who were protesting outside the Premier’s office in the Eastern Cape. The Eastern Cape Department of Health responded to these protests on the show as well. The South African Medical Association is also deeply concerned about the alarming number of junior doctors who remain unemployed despite completing their community service.
