NUM rejects Eskom unbundling

 

 

We examine the CIVICUS Monitor’s annual report, titled “People Power Under Attack”, which rates the civic space in 198 countries and territories around the world. The report has found that over 80% of people in Africa South of the Sahara live in countries where civic space is rated “Repressed or Closed”. In countries like Sudan for instance, humanitarian workers and journalists are being killed, attacked, detained and threatened.
