The Pretoria Magistrate’s Court ruled in favour of North West businessman, Suliman Carrim’s application for bail. In a judgment delivered earlier today, Magistrate Curlewis found that Carrim had provided sufficient grounds to warrant his release, subject to stringent conditions. He was therefore granted R100 000 bail, asked to hand over his passport, report weekly to a police station and ordered to make contact with the Madlanga Commission within 48 hours.
