STANDARD BANK BUSINESS AND COMMERCIAL BANKING CONFERENCE UNLOCKING AFRICA’S GROWTH

Two sisters inspired by local waste pickers are playing their part in keeping the environment clean, one brick at a time. From collecting waste from people's houses to their homes prototyping, the duo, Kedibone Tsiloane, and Kekeletso Tsiloane, now manufactures strong and durable bricks from recycled materials, including plastic. Their bricks are now made from 90% recycled material.

This Women's Day, the Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme Foundation celebrates the remarkable achievements of female students in the fields of Medicine and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, as well as other occupations in high demand. Since its inception in 2017, the Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme Foundation has dedicated itself to bridging the financial gap for students whose family incomes are too high to qualify for NSFAS funding, but too low to afford tertiary education independently.

Ramaphosa was speaking at the official National Women's Day celebration at Poffader in the Northern Cape. He says the Women's Economic assembly was launched to identify procurement opportunities for women in different industries. But then, there was very little to nothing mentioned about people living with disabilities.
