The murder trial of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane is continuing at the KwaZulu-Natal High Court in Durban. On Monday, the KwaZulu-Natal High Court Judge, Nomfundo Sipunzi, presiding over the murder trial of the alleged killers of Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, handed down an order effectively preventing the media from covering court proceedings as they happen. The South African National Editors’ Forum (SANEF) were alarmed by this ruling.
