President Cyril Ramaphosa will attended the G7 leaders’ summit in Canada this weekend. Interestingly Ramaphosa will once again have a meeting with his US counterpart Donald Trump on the sidelines of the summit. This year’s meeting will be the 50th meeting of this kind and it will serve as an important opportunity for leaders of key western democracies to resolve current trade issues and address rising tensions with China and Russia.
