Narges Mohammadi, a jailed Iranian human rights activist, has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for advocating for human rights in Iran. Mohammadi was sentenced for the recent nationwide protests over the death of 22-year-old Amini, who died after she was detained by the country’s police.
