Following the latest merger between Anglo American and Canada’s Tec Resources. Mining community social activists around the world are sceptical about this new partnership, arguing that the cycle of broken promises will still continue. Here at home, mining communities are calling for better management of mineral resources with more transparency and accountability in order for mining profits to directly fund local education, healthcare, hour and infrastructure.
